Phase 1: The Breadcrumbs

Story 2: The Return Trolley Intersection

✳️ An unusual impulse leads me to my very first spiritual teacher.

✳️ Twenty-three years old.

✳️ Drawn to a library with absolutely no idea why.

✳️ I instantly knew that book was coming home with me.

My first spiritual teacher showed up the year I turned twenty-three.

I had just returned from an exciting and adventurous three-month working holiday in New Zealand. My Life Path 5 had been completely lit up by the travel, but as I settled back into regular life, a massive question dominated my mind: Now what?

The title hit me like a physical current. I didn't need to read the back cover, and I didn't need to skim the pages. I instantly knew right then and there—that book was coming home with me.

Wayne Dyer became the first official guide on my thirty-year expedition. He was the first one to tell my analytical mind that the physical world isn't everything.

But just like the vineyard at seventeen, this was another piece of the puzzle I couldn't yet assemble. My Inner Being was dropping breadcrumbs, guiding my steps with precision, and leaving me with even more burning questions about how the universe actually operated...
