✳️ Expanding the boundaries of what is spiritually possible.
✳️ The realization that this was merely the tip of the iceberg.
Next on my radar was the Conversations With God book series. What if you could ask God any question you liked, and you were guaranteed to receive the perfect answer? Would that be a welcome possibility?
This was the first time I'd ever contemplated such a thought-provoking concept. Do I believe it's possible? Does it resonate with me? Well, at that stage of my journey, the jury was still out on that one!
For the author, Neale Donald Walsch, though, not only was this possible, it was a definite reality. One day, after hitting complete rock bottom in his life, Neale sat down and wrote God a long, scathing letter, demanding to know why his life sucked the way it did. And to his utter disbelief and amazement, he heard the most extraordinary answers.
God actually answered his questions!
At the time, I was more than a little skeptical about this. Having the ability to connect with a power far greater than ourselves—if it is truly possible, then why wasn't everyone doing it?
And most importantly, why wasn't I doing it?
Despite my deep skepticism, I did finish reading the entire CWG series. It definitely opened my mind and radically expanded my way of thinking. I now know that it was a completely necessary and vital piece of the puzzle to my "how life works" spiritual exploration.
But it was also just the tip of the iceberg, and the search continues...
